Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Digital Assets and subscription plans (“Products”) made through OffTrack Signal_ (“Service”), operated by Ming-Cheng Chiu (“Company”). All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), acting as merchant of record and reseller of the Service. Refund requests are handled jointly by Paddle and the Company according to this Policy.

2. Digital Assets Non-Refundability

⚠ Strict Rule — Critical Notice

Once a single Decryption Key has been consumed (i.e., applied to access premium gated data), you are ineligible for any refund under any circumstances, except where a refund is expressly required by mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.

“Consumed” means: the moment a Decryption Key is deducted from your account balance upon initiating a premium data access request, regardless of whether you reviewed the returned results.

By confirming a transaction that delivers Digital Assets, you expressly request immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you thereby waive any statutory right of withdrawal with respect to those Digital Assets, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

3. EU / UK Statutory Withdrawal Right

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or United Kingdom, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content purchases. However, by confirming your purchase and requesting immediate delivery of Digital Assets, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the equivalent UK provision.

This waiver applies only to consumed Digital Assets. Where no Decryption Key has been consumed, the 14-day withdrawal right remains available to EU/UK consumers, and a full refund will be issued upon valid withdrawal request submitted within that period.

4. Subscriptions (Product B)

  1. Subscription payments are non-refundable for any partial or unused portion of a current billing period, except where required by mandatory law.
  2. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of the current paid billing period. No pro-rated refund is issued for the remaining days.
  3. Monthly Decryption Key allocations (15 Keys) do not roll over; unused Keys expire at the end of each billing period with no cash value.
  4. First-time subscriber exception (discretionary): If you are a first-time subscriber and request a refund within 48 hours of your initial subscription payment, and you have not consumed any Decryption Keys during that period, we may issue a full refund at our sole discretion. This exception is not a guaranteed right and may not be available in all cases or jurisdictions.

5. One-Time Purchases (Product A)

  1. One-time purchases are non-refundable upon delivery of Digital Assets, including Radar Fuel and Decryption Keys, as the digital content is made immediately available upon payment confirmation.
  2. Discretionary 48-hour window: If you have not consumed any Decryption Keys and you contact support within 48 hours of purchase, we may issue a full refund at our discretion. This is not a guaranteed right.

6. Exceptional Refunds

Notwithstanding the above, we will process a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error.
  • Technical failure: A verified platform failure prevented delivery of the Digital Assets you paid for, and the failure is confirmed by our systems.
  • Unauthorized transaction:The charge resulted from demonstrably unauthorized use of your payment method, confirmed in conjunction with Paddle's fraud review process.

Refunds under this section are processed through Paddle as merchant of record and are subject to Paddle's verification procedures.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us at support@offtracksignal.app with your order ID, the email address used for purchase, the nature of your request, and any supporting details.
  2. We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days of receipt.
  3. We will respond with a decision within 10 business days of acknowledgment. Where additional information is required from Paddle, this timeline may be extended.
  4. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically reflected within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
